For my generation, there’s a certain nostalgia related to logos.
I remember myself as a teenager watching the logomania take over the fashion industry in the ’90s and early 2000s. Driven by this sentiment, I decided to carve my own niche in the logo print space, adopting a subtle, minimalistic approach.

Naturally, the Magda Butrym logo is a part of our DNA and it plays
a fundamental role in the brand's identity. While designing the logo prints, it was important that it goes without compromising my own aesthetic and I feel that we achieved that. The print is unique enough to reinforce the power of the brand,
but definitely doesn’t distract from it.

I’ve been designing for over fifteen years now and I hope to continue for many more to come. Each year and each collection has taught me so many lessons, yet still I have so much to learn. But, I love this process and I trust it.

I took me a lot of time and hard work to get to where I am now. Only recently, I allowed myself to acknowledge the fact that I am successful as a designer. It was hard to say it out loud, but I’ve found that strength to break my own barriers.

I feel ready to design pieces wearing my name all over it. MAGDA BUTRYM. It’s more than just a brand name.
It’s my life, my hopes, and my dreams. It is me.

I feel deeply touched and proud watching my customers endorse the expression of the brand and become a part of my world.
As a matter of fact, with this print, I’m sharing with them a bit of myself.

Love,
Magda
